Hi, I’m Gilbert “Sandy” Sandoval — founder of Next Level Highlights and a proud Air Force veteran, coach, and father.

I started this business because I’ve seen firsthand how powerful a well-made highlight video can be in helping athletes reach the next level. What began as a way to capture memories for my oldest son eventually became a critical tool for exposure — especially when we were stationed overseas. His highlight videos opened doors and helped him earn opportunities to play in Germany with DFB, SFC Kaiserslautern and FK Pirmasens. With over 10 years of experience creating highlight reels and a background in coaching at multiple levels, I bring both technical skill and recruiting insight to every project. That combination of personal experience and professional knowledge drives everything I do at Next Level Highlights.

I’ve served as a USL League One Associate Technical Director, club coach, and high school coach, and I’m also a father to two soccer players — one currently navigating the college recruiting process, and the other building his player profile as a youth athlete through game highlights. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of what college coaches are really looking for — not just flashy plays, but smart decision-making, technical ability, and game intelligence.

At Next Level Highlights, I combine that knowledge with professional editing to create videos that do more than showcase talent — they tell your story in a way that gets you noticed. I’m here to help athletes and families navigate this important step and give them a product they can be proud to share with coaches, scouts, and programs across the country.
